Load and Stride - Prepare to FIRE

The load and stride are critical components of the swing and occur at the same time.

The hands move slightly back (LOAD) while the front foot moves comfortably forward (STRIDE).

During this load and stride, the bat barrel is just above the hitters head, without wrapping around the back of the helmet.

The knob of the bat moves slightly back and is slightly angled towards the catcher.

The head stays still/centered.
