Barrington Youth Baseball and Softball (BYB&S) is a not-for-profit organization, committed to teach the game in a fun, competitive and instructional atmosphere. We are focused on improving the ability of every player while enhancing the experience for every family. Our efforts create a passion for the game that will last a lifetime. 

BYBS is the community feeder program for Barrington High School.

Players ages 5 to 18 have the opportunity to participate in baseball and softball in a variety of levels including the most competitive year round travel program (Barrington Travel - see the description at the bottom of the page or go directly to the Barrington Travel tab on the website) for highly skilled players to recreational programming for players of all abilities (BYB&S House Baseball & Softball). The House season runs from April 1st through late June. Opening Day is April 21st.

BYB&S also offers a Fall Season for House players.

Our organization has been in existence for over 60 years and has grown to provide programming for over 1,000 players each year, all of whom reside within the boundaries of community school district 220.

Over 100 teams participate in BYB&S each year. Our organization has adapted to our community's needs as we create programming to satisfy the demands of players of all skill levels. We have players from ages 5 to 18 with house recreational leagues, all star play, and elite full time travel teams - both baseball and softball.
