Stronger Together: BYBS & Barrington High School | Spring Season Ahead!
As we look ahead to another exciting spring season, Barrington Youth Baseball and Softball is proud to celebrate our long-standing partnership with Barrington High School.
For many years, BYBS has served as the community feeder program for BHS, helping young athletes grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game as they prepare to one day become Broncos and Fillies. This partnership continues to thrive thanks to the time, effort, and commitment of the Barrington High School coaching staff.
We are especially grateful to BHS Head Softball Coach Perry Peterson and new BHS Head Baseball Coach Paul Belo, who have been working directly with our travel players—just one example of the strong, collaborative relationship we value so deeply.
Together, Barrington 220 and BYBS work to develop not only athletic facilities, but student-athletes and families, creating an environment that supports future success while keeping the focus on fun, community, and unforgettable memories today.
With spring right around the corner, we’re counting down the days to our next session—almost as much as we look forward to a warm sunset at the Fields of Dreams.

Who is BYB&S?
Barrington Youth Baseball and Softball (BYB&S) is a not-for-profit organization committed to teach the game in a fun, competitive and instructional atmosphere. We are focused on improving the ability of every player while enhancing the experience for every family. Our efforts create a passion for the game that will last a lifetime.
Players ages 5 to 18 have the opportunity to participate in baseball and softball in a variety of levels including the most competitive year round travel program (Barrington Travel tab on the website) for highly skilled players to recreational programming for players of all abilities (BYB&S House Baseball & Softball). The House season runs from April 1st through late June. BYB&S also offers a Fall Season for House players.
Our organization has been in existence for over 60 years and has grown to provide programming for over 1,000 players each year, all of whom reside within the boundaries of community school district 220.
Over 100 teams participate in BYB&S each year. Our organization has adapted to our community's needs as we create programming to satisfy the demands of players of all skill levels.
